Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Service Engineer role based in Delhi, India. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of telecom and test & measurement equipment at customer sites. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, executing corrective and preventive actions, and providing timely field service and technical support. The role involves preparing service reports, coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Service Engineer will also guide customers on product usage, build strong relationships through effective communication, and contribute to continuous improvement of service processes.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for electronic and test & measurement equipment.
• Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site customer visits and hands-on work with equipment.
• Candidates should possess solid Maintenance & Repair capabilities, including preventive maintenance and component-level repairs.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with customers, documenting service activities, and coordinating with internal teams.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
• Basic understanding of telecom systems, optical fiber technology, and testing instruments is preferred.
• Ability to travel within Delhi and occasionally to other locations, and to work safely with tools and test equipment.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, using diagnostic tools, and working with standard office software for reporting.
