Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Shopify's platform, a strong understanding of web development principles, and a passion for creating high-quality eCommerce solutions. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Shopify stores, ensuring seamless performance, and providing technical support to our eCommerce team.

• Develop and Customize Shopify Themes: Build and customize Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Integrate Third-Party Services: Connect third-party services and apps to enhance the functionality of the Shopify store.
• Optimize Store Performance: Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and speed of Shopify stores.
• Implement SEO Best Practices: Integrate SEO best practices within the Shopify platform to improve organic search rankings.
• Maintain and Update Stores: Regularly update and maintain the Shopify stores, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest features and security patches.
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Shopify stores and apps.
• Collaborate with Design and Marketing Teams: Work closely with the design and marketing teams to implement new features and functionalities.
• Provide Technical Support: Offer technical support and guidance to the eCommerce team.

• Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience in Shopify development.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Experience with APIs: Experience in working with Shopify API and integrating third-party services.
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Responsive Design: Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
• SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and best practices for eCommerce.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your Shopify development projects.

1. Preferred Qualifications:

• E-Commerce Experience: Previous experience in eCommerce development and understanding of online retail.
• App Development: Experience with Shopify app development.
• Analytics Tools: Familiarity with analytics tools like Google Analytics.
• Graphic Design Skills: Basic graphic design skills to create and modify visual content.
