Role Description The Social Media Manager will oversee TalesByDora’s social media presence across key platforms, ensuring consistent, engaging, and travel-focused content. This full-time, remote role includes planning and executing social media calendars, writing and scheduling posts, and optimizing content for reach, engagement, and brand consistency. The Social Media Manager will monitor trends, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategies based on data-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include community management, responding to comments and messages, collaborating with the content and travel teams, and supporting campaigns and promotions for tours and travel packages. The role also involves coordinating visual assets, maintaining brand voice, and contributing ideas for new series, campaigns, and partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), with experience managing brand accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Excellent Communication and Writing skills, including the ability to create clear, compelling, and brand-aligned messages.
  • Experience with Content Strategy, including planning content calendars and aligning social content with marketing goals.
  • Familiarity with basic analytics tools to track performance, interpret data, and optimize campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage online communities and engage diverse audiences in a respectful, inclusive manner.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Previous experience in travel, hospitality, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
