Responsibilities

You would be responsible for understanding and designing a solution for the industrial marketing and strategy problem, for specific customers, using subject matter expertise and AI-powered analytical tools. This would consist of understanding the customer problem, working with AI-generated intelligence to apply domain judgment, and refining outputs towards high-quality customer deliverables. You would own the process of constantly improving the overall solution towards better customer experience. Typical aspects of ownership would include:

• Understanding the customer problem and designing the solution approach
• Designing the strategy for solving the customer problem
• Working with AI-powered tools and pipelines to extract, classify, and structure industry data
• Reviewing, validating, and refining AI-generated outputs using domain expertise
• Curating and munging structured datasets (trade data, patent data, company data) for analysis
• Analyzing results and zeroing in on the insights and recommendations
• Owning the customer problem to complete delivery, including presentation-quality deliverables
  
  

Requirements

• Problem Solver (This is Key!)
• 100% Self Driven, and excited to do deep non-trivial work
• Understanding, and more importantly a passion for the chemicals & material domain
• Understanding of the industrial value chains in the chemicals and materials industries
• Passionate towards direct customer value
• Comfort with structured data (spreadsheets, CSVs) and data-based decision making
• Expertise in comprehensive problem solving, all the way from problem definition to the final customer solution
• Ability to work with AI tools critically – knowing when to trust, when to question, and when to override
• Good communication skills
  
  

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering or Material Science

• Industrial marketing analysis experience in the chemicals, polymers and materials domain
• Experience in solving real life problems in the chemicals, polymers and materials domain
