  Key Responsibilities for Sourcing Managers Professionals

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to support business objectives and optimize procurement activities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified suppliers while building long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, market research, and benchmarking to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
  • Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and service agreements.
  • Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
  • Monitor supplier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze sourcing trends, market conditions, and supply risks to develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality, supplier reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage sourcing documentation, supplier records, contracts, and procurement reports.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues, delivery challenges, and quality concerns in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Support new product development by sourcing materials, components, and strategic suppliers.
  • Utilize ERP systems and procurement tools to manage sourcing activities and purchasing data.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal business teams to support organizational growth.
  • Promote continuous improvement through supplier development, process optimization, and strategic sourcing best practices.

  
  

  Eligibility Requirements

  • Diploma / Bachelor's / Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–20 years of relevant experience (varies by country).
  • English communication skills.
