Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Spanish Teacher role based in New Delhi. The Spanish Teacher will design and deliver engaging Spanish language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives. Daily responsibilities include lesson planning, classroom instruction, assessing student progress, and providing additional support through tutoring or remedial sessions when needed. The teacher will develop and adapt curriculum materials, incorporate a variety of teaching methods, and maintain an inclusive classroom environment that supports learners with diverse needs. Collaboration with other educators, participation in school meetings, and communication with families about student progress are also key aspects of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong Spanish Teaching and general Teaching skills, with experience instructing diverse groups of learners.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create structured, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Experience in Tutoring or providing individualized support to reinforce language skills and address learning gaps.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Spanish, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; teaching certification or license is an advantage.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
- Ability to use basic educational technology and teaching resources to enhance language instruction.
- Prior experience teaching Spanish in a school setting is preferred; familiarity with international or multicultural school environments is beneficial.
