Sr. Backend Engineer (Node.JS / Kafka / Rabbit)

Role & Responsibilities

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining core

backend components with a strong focus on real-time communication and system scalability.

Key Responsibilities

 Build RESTful APIs using Node.js

 Develop and manage cron jobs in Node.js

 Optimize PostgreSQL + Redis data flow

 Work with Node.js using TypeORM and TypeScript

 Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js, Socket.IO, and Apache Kafka

 Follow clean architecture principles

 Implement and manage real-time communication using sockets

 Design scalable event-driven systems for high concurrency

 Optimize system performance, queuing, and resource handling

 Collaborate with frontend, product, and engineering teams

 Ensure platform scalability, security, and performance

 Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

 Stay updated with modern backend and real-time communication technologies

Ideal Candidate

• Strong Sr. Backend Engineer Profiles. (Node.JS / Kafka / Rabbit)
• Mandatory (Experience 1) – Must have 6+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with strong expertise in Node.js.
• Mandatory (Experience 2) – Must have hands-on experience in building REST APIs, backend services, and scalable microservices using Node.js.
• Mandatory (Experience 3) – Must have strong experience working with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Mandatory (Experience 4) – Must have hands-on experience with Socket.IO/WebSockets and designing real-time applications.
• Mandatory (Experience 5) – Must have strong working knowledge of PostgreSQL, Redis, TypeScript, and TypeORM.
• Mandatory (Location) – Candidate must be currently based in Delhi NCR only
• Mandatory (Notice Period) – Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 15 days will be highly preferred.
• Preferred (Cloud) – Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Preferred (Architecture) – Experience with clean architecture, performance optimization, debugging, and scalable backend design.
