Sr. Manager – AI & Intelligent Automation (SW Lifecycle)

About The Role

As Senior Manager – AI & Intelligent Automation, you will shape and lead the adoption of AI-driven solutions across Visteon’s end-to-end software lifecycle—spanning requirements, design, development, testing, validation, and delivery. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role where you will build AI agents, develop in-house platforms, and evaluate best-in-class market solutions to accelerate software quality, speed, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Define and own the AI strategy for end-to-end software lifecycle automation.
• Identify high-impact AI use cases across requirements, development, testing, DevOps, and delivery.
• Design and develop AI agents for requirements analysis, test generation, defect prediction, code analysis, and compliance automation.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate third-party AI engineering tools where appropriate.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, QA, and product teams to embed AI into existing toolchains.
• Establish AI governance, model lifecycle management, and compliance with automotive standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 21434).
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of AI engineers and architects.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, AI, Data Science, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AI/ML systems, LLM-based solutions, and intelligent automation.
• Experience applying AI to software development, testing, DevOps, or quality engineering.
• Knowledge of automotive or other safety-critical software domains is strongly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and strategic thinking skills.
