Sr Software QA Engineer

Must Have Skills: : Java/Python coding, SQL, Automation testing, API testing, ETL/Database testing

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and best practices.
• Develop and implement automated test solutions to support functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to define automation strategies based on software requirements.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and drive continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance on test automation standards and best practices.
• Contribute to Agile delivery processes, software quality strategy, and the evaluation of new testing tools and technologies.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proven expertise as a Test Automation Engineer, designing and executing automated testing solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#, along with solid SQL and database knowledge (Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, Netezza, SQL).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, and TestComplete.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, best practices, and quality assurance principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in Agile environments; testing certifications (ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA) are an added advantage.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
