Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Staff Nurse in the ICU department, based in Ahmedabad. Responsibilities include providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and managing medical equipment. The Staff Nurse will coordinate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort, document medical records accurately, and communicate effectively with patients and their families. Supporting emergency cases and maintaining infection control protocols are key aspects of this role.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in patient care, including administering medications, maintaining records, and monitoring patient health.
  • Skills in handling and managing critical care equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and infusion pumps.
  • Strong understanding of infection control practices and ICU protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with healthcare professionals and support patients and families effectively.
  • Relevant nursing qualifications (e.g., GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent) and a valid nursing license
  • Prior experience in ICU or critical care settings is highly preferred.
  • Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
