Role Description The Study Abroad Branch Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Medcity International Academy branch in Kottayam. This role oversees daily branch operations, including managing admissions inquiries, counseling students and families on international study options, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The Branch Manager leads and mentors the local team, sets performance targets, and monitors progress on student conversion, partnerships, and revenue goals. Responsibilities include coordinating with universities and education partners, organizing seminars and information sessions, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The role also involves implementing marketing and outreach initiatives, ensuring compliance with institutional policies and regulations, and fostering a positive, learner-centered environment.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop staff members.
- Excellent student counseling and customer service capabilities, including communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience in branch or center operations, covering planning, scheduling, reporting, and process improvement.
- Proficiency in sales and marketing activities related to education services, such as lead generation, conversion, and local outreach.
- Knowledge of international education systems, study abroad pathways, and visa or admission processes is highly beneficial.
- Comfort with digital tools, CRM or student management systems, and basic data analysis for performance tracking.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, management, business, or a related field; advanced qualifications in counseling or international education are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an educational institution, training center, or study abroad consultancy will be considered a strong asset.
