Role: Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Soft Skills Trainer
Role Overview
HDSOFT Systems is looking for a dynamic Subject Matter Expert (SME) with strong soft skills training capabilities. This role involves delivering domain knowledge sessions along with enhancing employees communication, interpersonal, and professional skills. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical/domain expertise and workplace readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Design and deliver soft skills training programs including communication, presentation, teamwork, and workplace etiquette
- Conduct training sessions for freshers and internal teams
- Develop training materials, modules, and assessment frameworks
- Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback
Subject Matter Expertise
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in assigned domain (IT / Fintech / Business Processes)
- Deliver domain-specific training sessions aligned with business needs
- Support onboarding and upskilling initiatives
- Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into training content
Coordination & Support
- Collaborate with HR and department heads to identify training needs
- Assist in creating learning paths for employees
- Maintain training records, reports, and feedback analysis
- Support internal knowledge-sharing initiatives
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, IT, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in training, teaching, or SME role (freshers with strong training ability can be considered)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong command over English (spoken and written)
- Ability to engage and manage a group effectively
- Basic understanding of IT or fintech domain is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring skills
Good to Have
- Experience in corporate training or L&D
- Certifications in soft skills training / communication / coaching
- Exposure to training tools, LMS platforms, or content creation
