Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sushi Chef role based in Kondapur. The Sushi Chef will prepare and assemble sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other Japanese dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes. Responsibilities include handling and cutting seafood, cooking and seasoning rice, preparing sauces and garnishes, and ensuring all dishes are plated attractively and consistently. The role involves maintaining strict hygiene and food safety standards, managing prep work, monitoring inventory of ingredients, and coordinating with the kitchen team and service staff during service. The Sushi Chef will also help train junior staff, support menu development, and ensure a clean, organized work station throughout the shift.

Qualifications
- Strong food preparation and general cooking skills, with attention to consistency and presentation.
- Proficiency in handling seafood and core sushi culinary skills, including knife work and sushi rice preparation.
- Solid understanding of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Prior experience as a Sushi Chef or in a Japanese kitchen is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized recipes, and manage time effectively.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations.
- Culinary training or certification is an advantage but not required if experience is substantial.
