Metric Tree Labs builds and operates offshore engineering teams for international clients across North America & Europe. As we scale the number of engineers and specialists we place, we're hiring a Talent Acquisition & HR Operations Associate to own our recruitment funnel end to end and keep our people operations running smoothly.

This is a recruitment-heavy role for someone who can source sharp, screen well, and move fast — with the operational discipline to keep our HR systems and records in order alongside it.


What you'll own

  • Sourcing engineering and technical talent for live client requirements — LinkedIn sourcing, Boolean search, job ad campaigns, and building a searchable candidate pipeline
  • First-pass screening and shortlisting: assessing candidates on technical plausibility, communication, confidence, and fit before profiles reach the leadership team
  • Coordinating and scheduling interviews across candidates, internal stakeholders, and clients
  • Owning and administering our recruitment and HR systems — setting up and managing our ATS and HRMS on Zoho (Recruit and People), including the candidate database, employee records, payslip generation, and monthly compliance data hand-offs to our consultants
  • Keeping recruitment and HR data accurate, organised, and reportable


What we're looking for

  • Proven experience independently running recruitment and HR operations — you've owned the full funnel and the ops backbone solo, not as one member of a large team. This role has no one above you doing the work; you'll be the function.
  • 2-3+ years in technical or IT recruitment, ideally sourcing engineering roles (staffing agency or SME in-house background both welcome)
  • Strong command of LinkedIn sourcing and the discipline to build and maintain a candidate pipeline, not just react to open roles
  • Clear communicator with the judgment to screen candidates on more than keywords
  • Comfortable owning HR operations tooling and monthly record-keeping
  • Strongly preferred: an engineering or computer-science educational background, or demonstrated fluency reading technical job requirements — you should be able to tell a Windchill PLM specialist or a Salesforce Developer from a backend developer and search accordingly
