Technical Architect

Location: Trivandrum

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience designing and building modern web platforms using Microsoft technologies on the backend and Angular on the frontend
• Strong expertise in .NET Core / ASP.NET and Angular 2
• Deep understanding of building a large-scale transactional system
• Strong system design skills with experience designing distributed systems
• Good understanding of cloud architecture
• Strong knowledge of API design fundamentals
• Experience with in-memory computing and caching mechanisms
• Experience leading engineering teams of 5+ developers with diverse skill sets and experience levels

Responsibilities:

Architect Scalable Solutions:

• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that align with product vision and long-term platform strategy
• Translate business requirements into robust technical architecture and an implementation plan
• Drive architecture discussions and design reviews across engineering teams
• Create reusable design patterns while balancing scalability, performance, and cloud economics
• Build solution architectures, define component interactions, and provide architectural guidance throughout development

Drive Engineering Excellence

• Continuously improve engineering processes to ensure high code quality and predictable releases
• Collaborate closely with DevOps, Technical Governance, QA, and Product teams.
• Validate estimations covering design, development, and testing activities.
• As a Scrum Master, define sprint goals, monitor velocity, burndown, defect density, and defect leakage to improve delivery predictability

Lead Through Technical Influence

• Provide architectural direction and hands-on guidance to engineering teams.
• Mentor software engineers and help them grow into strong techno-functional contributors
• Ensure solutions remain aligned with architectural standards and engineering best practices
• Foster a collaborative culture built on technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning.
