Trade Finance Verification Officer

Cebron Global, the international trade finance division of Cebron Financial Group, is hiring a trade finance analyst to run transaction verification and document screening.

THE ROLE

You verify. Before any transaction reaches a funding source, you confirm the facts: title, sanctions, offtaker, instrument, inspection, pricing, corridor. You assemble the documentary package and hand a clean, funder-ready file to our execution team. This is a verification and processing role. It demands precision, not salesmanship.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Verify seller title and confirm transaction chains end to end
• Run sanctions and counterparty screening on all parties and vessels
• Confirm offtaker existence and purchase commitments
• Authenticate inspection reports (SGS, Bureau Veritas, or equivalent)
• Check pricing against published benchmarks
• Assemble complete, funder-ready documentary packages

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Minimum 10 years verifiable experience in trade finance operations, documentary credit, or commodity trade processing. Verifiable is a hard requirement, not a preference.
• Working command of LC and SBLC mechanics, UCP 600, and documentary collections
• Direct experience across commodity corridors in Africa, the Middle East, and emerging markets
• Familiarity with sanctions screening and FCPA-sensitive counterparty review
• Absolute attention to detail. In this role, a document taken on trust is a failure.
• Commodities: crude, refined products, LNG, agricultural products, base and precious metals.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

This is not an origination or sales seat. You will not solicit funders or negotiate terms. Your work is verification and packaging, and it is the foundation every funded deal rests on.
