Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Tiruvallur for a Transportation Manager. The Transportation Manager will oversee daily transportation operations, including managing vehicle fleets, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely and safe transportation services. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, supervising drivers and staff, resolving service issues, managing customer interactions, and ensuring all vehicles comply with regulatory and safety standards. The role also involves maintaining operational efficiency and budget adherence within the transportation services department.

Qualifications

• Proven skills in Operations Management and Transportation Management.
• Experience in Fleet Management and planning optimized transport routes.
• Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to handle inquiries and ensure satisfactory service.
• Problem-solving abilities and proficiency in using transport management software are advantageous.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
