Role Description The Video Editor role at Glocal Digital is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for various platforms, including social media, marketing campaigns, brand stories, and client projects. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, applying transitions, sound, and visual effects, performing color correction, and ensuring output aligns with brand guidelines and strategic objectives. The role involves collaborating closely with creative directors, content producers, and marketing teams to develop compelling visual narratives that support integrated media strategies. The Video Editor will also help optimize formats for different channels, maintain organized asset libraries, and meet project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for short-form and long-form content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual style and quality.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating engaging titles, lower thirds, and visual elements.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing and post-production tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro or equivalent).
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and contribute visual ideas that support marketing and storytelling goals.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, design, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in agency, production house, or digital-first environments is a plus.
