Role Description The Video Editor - Urgent Hiring (Indira Nagar) role at Gencosys is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The Video Editor will handle end-to-end video production tasks, including assembling raw footage, editing sequences, adding transitions, sound, and effects, and preparing final outputs for various platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with creative and marketing teams, following brand guidelines, adapting content for different formats, and meeting tight deadlines. The role also involves basic motion graphics work, color correction and grading, and ensuring consistent visual quality across all video content. The Video Editor is expected to maintain organized project files, stay updated on editing trends, and proactively suggest creative ideas to enhance video storytelling.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage, timelines, and exports.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look and feel of content.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and basic Graphics elements to support storytelling and branding.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
• Good sense of visual composition, pacing, audio syncing, and narrative flow.
• Ability to work on-site in Lucknow, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant education or certification in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in a similar video editing role, especially in an IT or marketing-focused environment, is an advantage.
