Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site WordPress Developer role based in Rajkot. The WordPress Developer is responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites and themes, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with project requirements. Daily tasks include developing front-end layouts, implementing responsive designs, integrating plugins and APIs, and optimizing site performance and user experience. The role involves collaborating with designers, marketers, and other developers to translate business needs into functional website solutions, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including responsive web design and modern web design practices.
• Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills, with experience in WordPress core, custom themes, plugins, and basic database management.
• Candidates should possess comprehensive Web Development skills, covering site architecture, performance optimization, security best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with building responsive layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP for custom WP functionality.
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites (themes, plugins, Liquid templates, custom sections).
• Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, cache, CDN, and speed improvements.
• Manage hosting environments (cPanel, WHM, VPS), DNS, SSL, email setups, backups, and site migrations.
• Integrate tracking codes (GA4, GTM, Pixel), APIs, third-party tools, and security solutions.
• Troubleshoot bugs, compatibility issues, server errors, and implement security best practices.
• Collaborate with SEO, content, design, and marketing teams; maintain documentation and SOPs.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, website analytics tools, and version control systems (such as Git) is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment are essential.
• A relevant degree or equivalent practical experience in web development or related fields is advantageous.

Basic Hosting & Server Knowledge (Required)

• Understanding of shared hosting, VPS, and cloud hosting environments.
• Basic knowledge of cPanel, Plesk, or hosting control panels.
• Experience with domain management, DNS records, SSL certificate installation, and email configuration.
• Basic understanding of Apache/Nginx, PHP versions, and MySQL database management.
• Ability to migrate WordPress websites between servers.
• Knowledge of website backups, restoration, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CDN services and caching plugins is an advantage.

Experience: 1-3 Years of experience required
