Role Description The YouTube Channel Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore, responsible for managing and growing client and in-house YouTube channels. Day-to-day tasks include planning content calendars, coordinating with creative and production teams, optimizing video titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails for SEO, and ensuring timely publishing of videos. The role involves analyzing channel performance, audience behavior, and campaign results, then translating insights into actionable improvements for content, posting schedules, and engagement strategies. The YouTube Channel Manager will collaborate with marketing, social media, and sales stakeholders to integrate YouTube efforts into broader brand campaigns, maintain consistent visual and messaging standards, and manage comments, community interactions, and partnerships to support channel growth.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with channel partners and managing channel sales to drive viewership, subscriptions, or related revenue.
  • Strong background in sales and sales management, with the ability to set targets, track performance, and align YouTube growth with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills, including community management, audience engagement, and handling viewer feedback professionally.
  • Familiarity with YouTube Studio, analytics tools, SEO for video, and basic understanding of digital marketing and social media strategy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across creative, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple channels, deadlines, and projects simultaneously.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience managing YouTube channels or video-led social media campaigns is highly beneficial.
