Himatsingka is a vertically integrated global textile major that designs, develops, manufactures and distributes a suite of home textile products. We manufacture bedding and bath products, drapery and upholstery fabrics, and fine-count cotton yarn, which are amongst the largest in the world. Role Summary
The Zonal Sales Manager – East will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing channel partnerships across the Eastern region. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, key account management, and execution excellence to achieve business objectives for the Himeya brand.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement zonal sales strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Achieve primary and secondary sales targets across the East region.
- Identify growth opportunities across channels.
- Drive market penetration and brand visibility initiatives.
2. Channel & Distribution Management
- Strengthen and expand distributor/dealer networks across key markets.
- Manage relationships with Modern Trade chains, retailers, and key accounts.
- Ensure optimal stock availability, merchandising, and visibility at store level.
- Monitor and improve sell-through and inventory turnover.
3. Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers, Sales Officers, and channel partners.
- Set KPIs, track performance, and drive capability building within the team.
- Foster a high-performance, result-oriented sales culture.
4. Business Development
- Identify and onboard new partners and high-potential accounts.
- Work closely with institutional clients (hotels, hospitality, corporate clients).
- Explore new channels and market segments for growth.
5. Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, and promotions.
- Gather customer insights and feedback to influence product and marketing strategies.
- Provide regular market reports and sales forecasts.
6. Financial & Operational Management
- Manage zonal budgets, trade spends, and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, credit controls, and compliance.
- Drive efficient logistics and supply chain coordination in the region.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: MBA / PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Experience: 8+ years in sales, with minimum 3–5 years in a regional/zonal leadership role
- Experience in home textiles, home décor, furnishings, lifestyle, or similar industries preferred
Proven track record in managing large geographies and multi-channel sales
