Role Description

This is a freelance, remote AP World History Tutor role. The AP World History Tutor will design and deliver tailored lesson plans to assist students with mastering key historical concepts, preparing for exams, and improving their overall understanding of the subject. Responsibilities include creating resourceful instructional materials, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. The position also involves maintaining an engaging virtual learning environment to meet individual student needs.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of AP World History curriculum and excellent teaching skills
• Proficiency in creating resourceful and customized instructional materials
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills for evaluating student progress
• Excellent organizational skills, including expense reports and lesson planning
• Knowledge of accounting principles, journal entry processes, or finance-related concepts is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Education, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster a supportive virtual environment
• Prior experience in remote tutoring or online education is beneficial
