Azure AI Cloud Engineer

Introduction & Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer, with exposure to GCP, to design, implement, and optimize robust cloud infrastructure on Azure platforms. This role particularly emphasizes AI and Data platform infrastructure ensuring high availability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of Azure services, hands-on expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and a keen interest in enabling AI/ML workloads and automation.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure leveraging GCP and Azure services.
• Develop automated deployment pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Terraform and GCP/Azure CloudFormation.
• Manage security practices, ensuring data protection and compliance with industry standards.
• Provision and manage Azure AI and Data platform components to support AI exploration and production deployment.
• Collaborate with data teams to deliver governed AI Landing zones and ensure high availability solutions.
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity in infrastructure management processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure architecture.
• Engage with multi-cloud architects and DevOps managers for expedited MVP production.
• Stay updated with evolving GCP/Azure services and recommend process improvements.
  
  

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience with GCP/Azure services and hands-on experience deploying Azure AI services via IaC (Terraform).
• Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, GCP/Azure CloudFormation, and ARM templates.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Gitlab CI/CD or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and secure connectivity patterns for AI services.
• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog or Splunk).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks, with a preference for relevant certifications.

Other Details

The position is based in Koregaon Park, Pune, operating on a hybrid model (3 days in-office per week) with working hours aligned to the CET time zone. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic environment that emphasizes innovation within the AI and data landscape.
