Role Description The Battery CFD Engineer will be responsible for performing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations and analyses for battery systems used in Euler Motors’ commercial EVs. This full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi involves modeling thermal and fluid flow behavior within battery packs, cooling systems, and related components to improve safety, performance, and lifespan. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and validating CFD models, conducting thermal and flow analyses, interpreting simulation results, and creating clear technical reports and recommendations for design and engineering teams. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams in battery design, electronics, and vehicle integration to optimize liquid-cooled architectures, support testing and validation, and contribute to continuous improvement of Euler’s ArcReactor™ and other advanced battery technologies.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Thermal Analysis and Heat Transfer for battery and powertrain systems.
- Minimum 2 yrs experience.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Dynamics for modeling cooling flows and internal passages.
- Candidates should possess understanding of Aerodynamics for vehicle-level airflow and its impact on thermal management.
- Proficiency with CFD tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM) and pre/post-processing software.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in battery thermal management, EV or automotive engineering, or related energy systems is highly beneficial.
- Ability to design experiments, validate simulations with test data, and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in a fast-paced product development environment in New Delhi.
