  • Role Description


You will own our export business development end-to-end: finding new international buyers, opening new markets, and converting enquiries into repeat orders. You’ll work directly with the owner to grow our global presence. Our design and sampling team supports you — your focus is purely on winning and growing buyers.


What You'll do


• Research global markets to identify where our products have the strongest demand, and build a target list of new buyers to approach

• Reach out to and build relationships with B2B buyers — retailers, importers, wholesalers, and buying houses across international markets

  • Own the complete sales journey: first contact, sharing our product range, following up, negotiating, and closing orders
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline, keeping every enquiry moving forward until it becomes a confirmed , repeat order

• Represent the company at international trade fairs and follow up diligently to convert leads into business

• Manage buyer relationships over the long term, becoming their trusted point of contact and growing each account year on year

  • • Work closely with the owner and the design/sampling team to make sure buyer requirements are met from enquiry to delivery


What we are looking for:

• 5–7+ years of hands-on experience in home textiles, made-ups, or handicrafts export business development

• A proven track record of personally bringing in and growing overseas buyers — someone who can point to the specific buyers and markets they have won and built

• A genuine “hunter” mindset: comfortable building a buyer pipeline from scratch and reaching out proactively rather than waiting for enquiries

• Strong understanding of how international B2B textile trade works

• Confident, professional written and spoken English, since this role is buyer-facing

• A self-driven, ownership-minded professional who can work independently, set their own targets, and take full responsibility for growing our export business


Qualifications


Graduate in any discipline; a degree or diploma in international business, textiles, or export management is a plus. What matters most is your real export experience and buyer network — not just your paper credentials.
