We are looking for both newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CA/ACCA) who are eager to start their career in international accounting and experienced Senior Accounting Associates who can independently manage client portfolios and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize financial statements, year-end accounts, and balance sheets for UK and Australian clients.
• Prepare tax returns using work papers, client records, and supporting documents.
• Perform bookkeeping, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with UK/Australian accounting standards and internal quality processes.
• Work closely with international clients to manage day-to-day accounting activities.
• Assist in setting up and maintaining cloud-based accounting systems and workflows.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Additional Responsibilities (Senior Associates)

• Review bookkeeping, financial statements, and tax work prepared by junior team members.
• Mentor and train new joiners and junior accountants.
• Manage client deliverables while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with Team Leads and clients to resolve accounting queries.

Candidate Profile

Fresh CA/ACCA

• Newly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Articleship experience in audit, taxation, or accounts finalization will be an advantage.
• Eager to build a career in UK and Australian accounting.

Experienced Professionals

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounts finalization, and financial reporting.
• Experience with UK or Australian accounting and taxation will be preferred.
• Prior experience in mentoring or reviewing team members is an added advantage.

Skills Required

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Dext, IRIS, or similar is preferred (training will be provided where required).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
