We are expanding our technical team in India and hiring a Cloud/AI Backend Engineer to build and maintain backend workflows, agent‑powered automations, and AWS‑based systems that support our GTM operations.

This is a high‑impact role working directly with the Founder and our Solutions Architect.

🔹 What You Will Own

1️⃣ Backend Development for Agent‑Powered Workflows

• Build deterministic backend workflows that integrate with LLM/agentic systems
• Implement AWS Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and Bedrock‑powered tasks
• Enforce guardrails, fallback logic, and predictable agent behavior
• Ensure outputs follow SaaSNova’s brand voice and tone

2️⃣ AWS Architecture & Cloud Engineering

• Design and maintain secure IAM roles, policies, and permission boundaries
• Build scalable serverless backend systems
• Implement CloudFormation stacks, APIs, and backend services
• Optimize Bedrock usage and cost efficiency

3️⃣ Integrations & Data Workflows

• Integrate external APIs, MCPs, CRM connectors (HubSpot/Salesforce → ACE)
• Support graph database integrations for intelligence workflows
• Build ingestion pipelines for partner and Marketplace data

4️⃣ Documentation & Runbooks

• Convert business runbooks into deterministic workflows
• Document agent tasks, failure modes, guardrails, and orchestration logic
• Maintain clear technical diagrams and backend documentation

5️⃣ Collaboration & Delivery

• Work directly with the Founder and US Solutions Architect
• Collaborate with India operations team
• Provide proactive communication and rapid iteration

🔹 Required Qualifications

AWS Expertise (Mandatory)

• 4+ years hands‑on AWS engineering experience
• Minimum 2 AWS Certifications required:
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate (mandatory)
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or Developer/SysOps Associate (preferred)
• Strong experience with:
• Lambda
• Step Functions
• API Gateway
• EventBridge
• CloudFormation
• IAM
• S3
• Serverless architectures

AI + Agentic Workflow Skills

• Experience integrating LLMs (Bedrock preferred)
• Ability to design prompts, guardrails, and deterministic fallback logic
• Understanding of agentic task execution vs. deterministic orchestration
• Ability to enforce brand voice in agent outputs

Backend Engineering Skills

• Strong Python experience (mandatory)
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and backend workflows
• Familiarity with graph databases (preferred)
• Experience integrating external APIs/MCPs
