Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Laser Machine Operator based in Vijayawada. The CNC Laser Machine Operator will set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting machines to produce parts and components according to technical drawings and specifications. Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, selecting appropriate programs, adjusting machine settings, and ensuring optimal cutting quality and efficiency. The role involves inspecting finished parts, performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery, and coordinating with production and quality teams to meet daily output and safety standards. The operator is expected to follow workplace safety procedures, maintain accurate production records, and support continuous improvement activities on the shop floor.
Qualifications

  • CNC Laser Machine Operation and general Machine Operation skills, including setup, programming, and safe handling of machinery
  • Experience in Quality Control, with the ability to inspect parts, measure tolerances, and document production outcomes
  • Hands-on skills in Machining and Milling, with familiarity in metal fabrication and industrial manufacturing processes
  • Strong understanding of Machinery maintenance basics, troubleshooting minor issues, and coordinating repairs when needed
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and technical specifications
  • Attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, manufacturing, or related field preferred
  • Prior experience in heavy equipment, automotive, defence, or fabrication industries is an advantage
