DevOps Engineer

AjnaLens is looking for a DevOps Engineer – GCP & Kubernetes to join our Product Engineering team at Thane (Maharashtra – India). This is a high-impact role for an experienced DevOps professional who will build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure, automate deployments, and ensure highly available, secure, and reliable production environments.

Who are we looking for:

• The ideal candidate should have 5–8 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Infrastructure Automation with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• This role demands strong ownership, automation-first thinking, and close collaboration with engineering teams to accelerate product delivery.

Top 3 Daily Tasks:

• Design and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployments.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters (GKE) for production-grade applications.

Minimum Work Experience / Education Required:

• 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
• Strong production experience with Terraform, GCP, GKE, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Top 5 Skills You Should Possess:

• Deep hands-on expertise in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Strong experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform).
• Proven working knowledge of GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine).
• Experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, scaling, and orchestration.
• On-Premises Infrastructure deployment & troubleshooting experience.

What You’ll Be Expected to Do:

• Architect and manage scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform.
• Ensure high availability, monitoring, logging, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate closely with backend, AI, firmware, and product teams to streamline releases.
• Continuously improve infrastructure performance, security, and deployment velocity.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with monitoring & observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
• Exposure to container security best practices.
• Experience working in deep-tech, product-based, or hardware-integrated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities.
