Role Description The Fleet Coordinator / Fleet Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mohali district, responsible for overseeing day-to-day fleet operations and ensuring vehicles are safe, available, and efficiently utilized. This role includes coordinating the scheduling, dispatch, and routing of trucks, maintaining accurate records of vehicle usage, inspections, and maintenance, and supporting drivers with operational queries and issues. The individual will monitor fleet performance, assist with preventive maintenance planning, and communicate with internal teams and external partners to minimize downtime and service disruptions. Daily activities also involve collaborating with operations and customer service teams to meet delivery commitments, uphold safety and compliance standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of fleet processes.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Fleet Operations and Fleet Management to coordinate schedules, track vehicle status, and support preventive maintenance.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with drivers, internal teams, and customers.
  • Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to support routing, dispatch, compliance, and overall efficiency of transportation activities.
  • Relevant experience in trucking, logistics, or transportation, particularly in a fleet coordination or technician role, is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of vehicle safety standards, basic mechanical concepts, and fleet-related documentation and reporting is preferred.
  • Ability to use fleet management software, spreadsheets, and communication tools, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Completion of secondary education is required; additional technical or logistics-related certifications or diplomas are an asset.
