Role Description The German Teacher will deliver engaging, learner-centered German language instruction to students preparing for higher education, Ausbildung programs, and early-career opportunities in Germany. This full-time, on-site role in Indore involves planning and conducting group and individual classes, designing lesson plans aligned with CEFR levels, and integrating real-life communication scenarios relevant to academic and professional contexts. The teacher will assess student progress through tests, assignments, and speaking evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records. Daily responsibilities also include preparing students for language exams and interviews, collaborating with counselors and training staff to align language training with student goals, and contributing to the development of learning materials and curriculum improvements.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in German Teaching and general Teaching, with the ability to adapt methods to diverse learning styles.
  • Background in Education and Training, ideally with experience designing structured lesson plans and course outlines.
  • Hands-on experience in Tutoring or coaching learners individually and in small groups for language improvement.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written German (B2 level or higher; C1 preferred) and good command of English or local language for explanation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in German, Education, Languages, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications (e.g., Goethe-Institut, TELC) are a plus.
  • Experience preparing learners for standardized language exams or studying/working in Germany is an advantage.
  • Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered and inclusive teaching approach.
  • Ability to work on-site in Indore and collaborate effectively with academic and counseling teams.
