Job Description

Role: Linux Engineer

Required Technical Skill Set : Linux Admin, Bash Scripting

Desired Experience Range 10+

Location of Requirement Offshore (Chennai/ Bangalore/Pune/HYD)

Must-Have

Demonstrated strong administration skills across RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Enterprise-grade Linux environments, including System configuration, Troubleshooting, and Performance optimization.

Strong proficiency in Bash and Python scripting to automate routine tasks, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

Hands-on experience in System performance tuning, Kernel parameter optimization, and advanced troubleshooting in Linux environments.

Extensive experience in IBM AIX system administration within Enterprise environments, including System maintenance, Performance tuning, and Troubleshooting.

Practical experience in managing Logical Volume Management (LVM) and configuring storage in AIX environments.

Good-to-Have

Practical experience implementing and managing high-availability (HA) and clustering solutions such as Pacemaker and Veritas Cluster.

Solid knowledge of Patch management processes, System security hardening, and Vulnerability remediation in Linux & AIX environments.

Strong expertise in designing and managing Backup solutions, Recovery procedures, and Disaster recovery (DR) strategies for Linux & AIX based systems.
