Role Description The Professor role at SGT University is a full-time, on-site position located in Delhi, OH. The Professor will design and deliver lectures, seminars, and practical sessions, ensuring courses align with academic standards and institutional goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring and advising learners, assessing performance through assignments and examinations, and maintaining accurate academic records. The Professor will engage in scholarly activities such as research, publications, curriculum development, and participation in academic committees. The role also involves contributing to departmental initiatives, supporting accreditation processes, and fostering an inclusive, respectful learning environment.
Qualifications

• Relevant doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent) in the applicable discipline from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the higher education level, with the ability to deliver clear, engaging, and learner-centered instruction.
• Proven record or strong potential in research, publications, and scholarly activities, including participation in conferences or academic forums.
• Strong curriculum development, academic planning, and assessment skills, with familiarity in outcome-based education and modern pedagogical methods.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support diverse learners.
• Commitment to ethical practices, academic integrity, and creating an inclusive and non-discriminatory classroom and campus environment.
• Experience with academic administration, committee work, or program coordination is an advantage.
• Ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning, including use of learning management systems and digital resources.
• Prior industry or clinical experience, where relevant to the discipline, is beneficial.
