Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashik, responsible for driving sales of renewable energy solutions and managing client relationships. Day-to-day activities include identifying and qualifying leads, preparing and presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with commercial, industrial, and residential customers. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, coordinating with technical and project teams to ensure accurate solution design and timely delivery, and maintaining a strong sales pipeline. The Sales Manager will monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales approaches and contribute to business growth. This position also requires regular reporting on sales performance, forecasting, and participation in industry events and client meetings.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong skills in lead generation, customer relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Ability to develop sales strategies, analyze market trends, and prepare persuasive proposals and presentations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills for working with clients and internal teams.
  • Comfort with sales reporting, forecasting, and use of CRM or sales management tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field; an MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of solar and renewable energy solutions, basic technical understanding of systems, and willingness to stay updated on industry developments.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet sales targets.
  • Readiness to work on-site in Nashik and travel to client locations as required.
