Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing expert technical support, understanding client requirements, delivering customized solutions, and managing sales processes effectively. The role encompasses interacting with clients to identify needs, presenting suitable solutions, maintaining customer relationships, and providing after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.


Other requirements:

  • Strong skills in Sales Engineering and the ability to develop and deliver technical solutions
  • Proficiency in providing Technical Support and troubleshooting technical challenges
  • Effective communication and rapport-building skills to interact with clients and internal teams
  • Experience in Sales and a proven ability to achieve sales targets
  • Adept at Customer Service to ensure client satisfaction and build long-term relationships
  • Working knowledge of Gas and Liquid Analyzer technologies will be advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electronics, or related fields) is preferred
  • Willingness to work on-site in Mumbai and travel as needed for client visits


Experience required for the Job: 2+ years


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute monthly and annual sales plans for your assigned region.
  • Manage and respond to sales inquiries and customer leads.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new business opportunities.
  • Handle customer negotiations, address queries, and resolve complaints.
  • Ensure timely payment collections and manage customer accounts and claims.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to enhance service quality.
  • Support the implementation of company strategies in both domestic and international markets.
  • Collate and analyze market data to guide business decisions.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Track and analyze sales performance and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Prepare monthly reports, dashboards, and performance summaries.
  • Assist in marketing, advertising, and product promotion activities.
  • Conduct on-site customer visits to provide product demonstrations and service support.
  • Collaborate with other Sales Engineers and teams to study product developments and sales trends.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or related field, MBA (in sales and marketing) will be added advantage
  • Understanding of the latest technologies, trends, and industry standards related to Instrumentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for identifying and resolving technical challenges encountered during Product Promotion.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with colleagues from different department and contribute to achieving sales goals.
