JSW Sports is looking for an experienced Senior Cricket Partnerships Specialist to drive commercial partnerships across its cricket portfolio. The role is responsible for identifying and securing sponsorships, building strong relationships with brands and agencies, and growing revenue through strategic partnerships.


Key Responsibilities


Revenue Generation

  • Achieve annual partnership and sponsorship revenue targets across cricket properties.
  • Identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities with brands and agencies.
  • Lead the complete sales cycle, from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closure.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular revenue forecasts.

Partnership Development

  • Build and nurture relationships with senior decision-makers across brands and media agencies.
  • Develop tailored partnership proposals aligned with client objectives.
  • Work closely with internal teams to create compelling sponsorship solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of partner satisfaction to drive renewals and long-term relationships.

Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated on trends in the cricket sponsorship ecosystem, including IPL, WPL, domestic cricket, and other leagues.
  • Monitor industry developments, sponsorship opportunities, and competitor activity.
  • Identify category-specific opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize commercial potential.

Account Management

  • Manage key partner accounts and ensure seamless execution of partnership commitments.
  • Track partnership performance and present value delivered to clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships through upselling and cross-selling.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
  • 10-20 years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or sports marketing, preferably within cricket.
  • Strong network across brands, agencies, and the sports marketing ecosystem.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and closing high-value commercial partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of the Indian cricket landscape and sponsorship market.
