Job Description
We are looking for an Academic Sales Counsellor to guide parents and students through their career planning journey.
This is a consultative sales role where you will engage with high-intent inbound leads, understand the student's aspirations and challenges, recommend the most suitable program, and help families make confident enrolment decisions.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong counselling and sales skills, a customer-first mindset, and a passion for helping students.
- Counsel parents and students on career planning, stream selection, and our programs.
- Conduct consultation calls with prospective families.
- Understand the student's aspirations, challenges, and career goals to recommend the right solution.
- Convert qualified leads into enrolments through consultative selling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents throughout the decision-making process.
- Follow up with prospects via calls and WhatsApp to drive conversions.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and lead status in the CRM.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for enrolled students.
- Consistently achieve individual sales and counselling targets while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in EdTech Sales, Academic Counselling, Admission Counselling, or Education Consulting.
- Excellent spoken English and Hindi.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable handling consultative sales conversations over phone and video calls.
- Goal-oriented with a strong ownership mindset.
- Good listening skills and empathy.
- Basic CRM knowledge.
