Job Title - Assistant General Manager – Accounts and Finance

Location - Pune

Job Description -

We are looking for a highly accomplished and detail-oriented Assistant General Manager – Accounts to lead our Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with extensive experience in the real estate developer industry, capable of managing end-to-end accounting operations across multiple projects, driving financial governance, ensuring statutory compliance, leading large finance teams, and delivering accurate financial reporting to support strategic business decisions.

Roles & Responsibilities -

• Lead end-to-end accounting operations across multiple ongoing real estate projects, ensuring timely financial closures and accurate project accounting
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Drive statutory, internal, tax, GST, and RERA audits while coordinating with auditors, consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities
• Monitor project cash flows, budgeting, fund utilization, financial controls, and profitability through robust MIS reporting and analytical dashboards
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team while collaborating closely with Sales, CRM, Procurement, Projects, Legal, and senior leadership to ensure financial discipline and operational excellence

Must-Have Skills-

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with mandatory experience in a Real Estate Developer organization
• Strong expertise in financial accounting, project accounting, financial statement finalization, and revenue recognition
• Hands-on experience managing statutory audits, GST, TDS, Income Tax, RERA compliance, and financial controls
• Proven experience handling accounting for multiple real estate projects simultaneously and leading large finance teams
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems, Advanced MS Excel, MIS reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Preferred Skills-

• Experience managing finance operations for large-scale residential, commercial, or township developments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning capabilities
• Experience in project profitability analysis, cash flow management, and budget variance reporting
• Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and presentation skills

Educational Background -

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline from an AICTE-approved and/or UGC-recognized institution
• MBA / Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline preferred from an AICTE-approved and/or UGC-recognized institution.
• Additional certifications in Finance, Taxation, ERP Systems, or Financial Management will be an added advantage
