Job Description
As a Brand & Communication Specialist (Marketing) at AKM Global, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the firm’s brand reputation by ensuring that all employee-generated and marketing-related content aligns with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and community standards. This position demands precision, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive content while maintaining operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the custodian of AKM Global’s brand voice, ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications.
- Review and validate all content including website, client communications, reports, proposals, social media, and marketing collateral prior to release to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence with brand guidelines.
- Ensure all communications meet standards for language, tone, compliance, and factual accuracy, especially in sensitive or regulated areas.
- Establish and enforce content standards, guidelines, and templates to ensure uniformity across the organization.
- Create high-quality content aligned with AKM Global’s professional positioning.
- Translate complex, technical and regulatory information into clear, concise, and client-friendly communication.
- Drive leadership messaging, internal announcements, and client-facing communication.
- Monitor and manage brand presence across digital platforms, ensuring consistency in positioning and messaging.
- Act as the central coordinator for content reviews and approvals across diverse stakeholders.
- Educate and guide internal stakeholders on communication standards and best practices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in brand management and corporate communications.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as German, Japanese, or French is preferred.
- Prior experience to professional services, consulting or corporate environments.
- Proven experience in content review, editing, and business communication.
- Solid understanding of brand governance, compliance and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
- Ability to simplify complex or technical information into clear messaging.
- Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight timelines.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
