Role Description The Shift Officer – Yarn Dyeing is a full-time, on-site role based at the Bapatla facility. The role is responsible for overseeing yarn dyeing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring production plans are met with the required quality standards and within defined timelines. Daily activities include monitoring dyeing processes, supervising shift operators and support staff, checking shade matching and quality parameters, and ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. The Shift Officer will coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve process issues, maintain production records, and support continuous improvement in efficiency and waste reduction. The role also involves training team members on best practices, ensuring proper use of machinery, and reporting shift performance to senior supervisors or managers.

Qualifications
- Strong understanding of yarn dyeing processes, dyeing machines, and textile production workflows.
- Knowledge of quality control practices related to shades, fastness, and yarn performance.
- Ability to lead and supervise shift teams, allocate work, and maintain discipline and safety on the shop floor.
- Proficiency in maintaining production reports, process parameters, and basic computer usage for documentation.
- Diploma or degree in Textile Technology or a related field; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in yarn dyeing or textile processing in a mill environment, preferably in a supervisory or shift in-charge role.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work in a shift-based schedule.
- Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
