Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Brew Master role located in Gujarat, India. The Brew Master will be responsible for preparing and overseeing the production of chocolate-based beverages, coffees, and other specialty drinks, ensuring consistent taste, quality, and presentation. Daily tasks include managing brewing processes, monitoring ingredients and inventory, calibrating equipment, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in the beverage preparation area. The role involves creating and refining recipes, training team members on proper brewing techniques, and collaborating with management to introduce new menu items. The Brew Master will also interact with guests when needed, supporting a positive customer experience and helping to uphold The Chocolate Room’s brand standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong beverage preparation skills with experience in brewing, barista work, or specialty drink creation, preferably in a café or food and beverage environment.
  • Knowledge of flavor profiles, recipe development, and quality control processes for hot and cold beverages.
  • Ability to manage equipment operation, cleaning, and basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient brewing.
  • Solid understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and local regulatory requirements within a commercial kitchen or café setting.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to train and guide staff in beverage preparation and service standards.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to handle peak service hours and multiple orders efficiently.
  • Prior experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food and beverage role; experience with chocolate-based or specialty beverages is an advantage.
  • Relevant vocational training or certification in hospitality, culinary arts, or beverage preparation is preferred, though equivalent practical experience is highly valued.
