EDM & VMC Operator cum Helper

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ghaziabad for an EDM & VMC Operator cum Helper. The role involves operating and assisting in the setup of EDM and VMC machines, loading and unloading workpieces, and monitoring machine operations to ensure precision and quality. The individual will support basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication, and help in changing tools, fixtures, and materials as required. Daily responsibilities include following production plans, reading basic engineering drawings, adhering to safety guidelines, and coordinating with supervisors and quality teams to meet output and quality standards.
Qualifications

• Ability to operate EDM and VMC machines, including basic setup, tool handling, and process monitoring.
• Understanding of basic mechanical concepts and ability to read simple engineering or machining drawings.
• Attention to detail, focus on quality, and willingness to follow standard operating procedures and safety practices.
• Physical ability to handle machine-related tasks such as loading/unloading parts and maintaining a clean work area.
• Prior experience in CNC/EDM/VMC operations or industrial machine work is preferred.
• Minimum educational qualification at the high school/ITI level in a relevant trade (e.g., fitter, machinist) is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a team, follow instructions from supervisors, and adapt to shifting production priorities.
