Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Marketing Manager – Ad Sales role based in Bhopal. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new advertisers, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and managing the full ad sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Daily tasks include developing sales pitches and proposals, coordinating with editorial and design teams to create effective ad placements, and monitoring campaign performance to ensure client satisfaction. The role also involves market research to identify opportunities, negotiating ad rates and packages, and preparing periodic reports on sales performance and revenue growth. The Marketing Manager will be expected to represent the brand professionally at meetings, events, and industry gatherings to expand the advertiser base.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in advertising sales, media sales, or marketing management, preferably in print or digital publishing.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and presentations, with the ability to communicate value propositions clearly.
- Ability to conduct market research, analyze trends, and develop sales strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Competence in preparing sales proposals, managing pipelines, and using CRM or sales tracking tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment, manage multiple accounts, and meet revenue targets under deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; relevant professional certifications or training in sales or media marketing are a plus.
- Prior experience in news, magazine, or digital content organizations is highly desirable.
