Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with hands-on experience in coordinating HV/MV Substation, Power Transformer, and Switchyard projects. The ideal candidate should possess strong project coordination, planning, documentation, execution tracking, and stakeholder management skills. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination between clients, consultants, vendors, site teams, and internal departments to facilitate the timely and successful execution of electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the execution of HV/MV Substation, Power Transformer, and Switchyard projects from project initiation through commissioning and final handover.

• Monitor project schedules, milestones, site progress, and ensure timely completion of project activities.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.

• Track procurement, manufacturing, material dispatch, logistics, and delivery schedules to ensure project timelines are met.

• Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, inspection, and site execution activities with project engineers and site teams.

• Prepare and maintain project schedules, progress reports, MOMs, project trackers, material status reports, and daily/weekly project updates.

• Ensure timely submission of technical documents, drawings, inspection reports, commissioning reports, and client documentation.

• Monitor project documentation, including purchase orders, work orders, BOQs, inspection records, punch lists, and project handover documents.

• Identify project risks, delays, and coordination issues, and proactively work with stakeholders to resolve them.

• Coordinate site visits, inspections, client meetings, and progress review meetings.

• Ensure project activities comply with client specifications, contractual requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.

• Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders and provide regular project status updates to management.

• Support commercial, procurement, engineering, and execution teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Travel to project sites whenever required to monitor project progress and support execution activities.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in project coordination for HV/MV Substations, Power Transformers, Switchyard Equipment, or Electrical EPC Projects.

• Good understanding of Power Transformers, Switchyard Equipment, HT/LT Electrical Systems, and Substation Projects.

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining project timelines.

• Experience in project planning, scheduling, material tracking, documentation, and progress monitoring.

• Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Electrical Layouts, and Technical Drawings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and other project tracking tools.

• Excellent communication, coordination, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.

• 3–8 years of relevant experience in Project Coordination for Electrical EPC, Power Transmission, Transformer Manufacturing, or Substation Projects.

• • Experience working with Transformer Manufacturers, Electrical EPC Companies, Power Transmission Utilities, or Switchyard Projects will be highly preferred.
