Role Description This is an on-site internship role for a Research Intern based in Kozhikode. The Research Intern will support the team by gathering, organizing, and analyzing data related to Shopify brands, customer journeys, and eCommerce performance. Daily tasks include conducting market and competitor research, identifying trends in online shopping behavior, and summarizing insights into clear reports and presentations for internal use. The intern will assist in evaluating landing pages, product pages, and checkout flows, and will contribute to recommendations that improve conversion and revenue. The role also involves collaborating with strategy and design teams, maintaining research documentation, and continuously updating findings to inform ongoing client projects.

Qualifications

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect data from multiple sources and draw actionable insights.
  • Comfort with basic data tools (spreadsheets, dashboards, or analytics platforms) and an interest in eCommerce metrics and customer behavior.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear summaries, reports, and presentations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Interest in Shopify, online retail, and digital growth strategies; prior exposure to eCommerce, marketing, or business studies is an advantage.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or program in business, economics, marketing, data science, or a related field.
