Role Description The Travel Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves consulting with customers to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and requirements, and recommending suitable tour packages and itineraries. The Travel Consultant will handle end-to-end travel arrangements, including bookings, reservations, and documentation, while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of tours. Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries, providing accurate information on destinations, pricing, and policies, resolving customer issues, and maintaining up-to-date records in booking systems. The role also involves following up with customers, promoting relevant travel offerings, and contributing to a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Travel Consulting and Travel Management to understand client needs and plan suitable itineraries.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Travel Arrangements and Reservations to manage bookings, ticketing, and tour operations efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, provide guidance, and support customers before, during, and after travel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain options clearly and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple bookings, schedules, and documentation accurately.
  • Proficiency with travel booking systems, office software, and basic computer applications.
  • Prior experience in travel, tourism, or hospitality is preferred; relevant certifications or a diploma/degree in Travel & Tourism or a related field are an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate with team members, and adapt to a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
