About UrbanFleet and Car-Bounty
Car-Bounty is a product of Urban Fleet Technology Pvt Ltd, which is a DPIIT-recognised, D-U-N-S® registered startup, building India's first verified-buyer marketplace for new car retail. We launch in NCR (Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad) in July 2026, with Mumbai and other Tier-1 cities to follow later in the year.
We are not another lead-classified platform. Our model is fundamentally different: buyers commit a refundable fee at the start, OEM-authorised dealers bid privately within their own price floors and discount caps, and CarBounty earns only on closed transactions. Dealer margin is protected. Lead quality is verified. The platform is being designed in conversation with senior dealer principals across NCR.

The Role
We are hiring a Dealer Relations Manager as a founding team member, reporting directly to the Founder. This is a hands-on, field-heavy role responsible for owning dealer-side execution from pre-launch through scale.
You will be the senior CarBounty voice to dealer principals, GMs, and sales heads across NCR. You will close anchor dealer signings, onboard them operationally, train their sales teams, and build the long-term commercial relationship that determines whether CarBounty succeeds.
This is not a typical sales role. It is consultative, relationship-led, and patient. You will be working with senior auto-retail professionals who have seen 20+ platforms come and go. The right candidate understands this and approaches dealers as peers, not targets.
What You'll Own
1. Dealer Acquisition (Months 1-3)
- Build a target list of 50+ NCR dealerships across Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Kia, Honda, Toyota
- Lead dealer principal and GM-level conversations — 15-20 dealer visits per week
- Support the founder in closing 25-30 anchor dealer signings by July 2026 launch
2. Onboarding Operations
- Conduct half-day on-site training sessions at each anchor dealership
- Configure each dealer's bid floors, discount caps, and bid-room preferences in the Dealer App
- Train each dealer's designated sales champion as the CarBounty point-of-contact
- Walk service teams through the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) workflow
3. Post-Onboarding Relationship Management
- Monthly check-ins with each anchor dealer's leadership team
- Resolve commercial concerns at the sales head and GM level
- Surface dealer-side product feedback to the founder
- Track each dealer's monthly transaction volume and intervene if engagement drops
4. Building the Function
- Document SOPs, training materials, and dealer playbooks for the wider team
- Grow into a senior leadership role over 18-24 months as we scale across cities
What We're Looking For
Must-Have:
- 4-8 years of experience in automotive retail, OEM-side roles, or dealer-platform ecosystems in India
- Direct experience in one of: dealer-group sales (showroom or area sales role), OEM area sales or network development, dealer-side accounts at CarDekho / CarWale / Cars24 / Droom
- Demonstrable comfort in business conversations with Sales Heads, GMs, and dealer principals
- Strong communication in English and Hindi
- Comfortable with 60-70% field time across NCR
- Self-motivated and comfortable working without daily supervision
Strongly Preferred:
- Existing relationships with 10+ NCR dealership leadership
- Prior startup experience or comfort with pre-launch ambiguity
- Familiarity with OEM-channel dynamics and dealer pricing-discipline conversations
- MBA from a recognised institute, or strong domain depth in lieu of formal education
Not a Fit If:
- Pure performance marketing or B2C sales backgrounds — this is B2B relationship sales
- Comfortable only with structured corporate environments — we don't have all the SOPs yet, you'll help write them
- Need step-by-step direction — this is a self-driving role with founder support
Compensation
- Base Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹70,000 per month (calibrated to experience)
- Performance Variable: ₹15,000 – ₹40,000 quarterly bonus, based on dealer signings and onboarding KPIs
- Fuel Reimbursement: ₹15/km for verified dealer visits (typically ₹10,000 – ₹18,000/month additional)
- Mobile and data reimbursement
- Founding Team ESOP: Meaningful equity grant with 4-year vesting and 1-year cliff
- Growth Path: Direct progression into Senior Manager or Head of Dealer Relations within 18-24 months as we scale
Working Conditions
- Office at registered HQ in Sector 16 Industrial Estate, Gurgaon
- Hybrid: approximately 3-4 days field across NCR, 1-2 days office
- 6-day working culture (Saturdays optional but customary in auto retail)
- Occasional travel to Patna and other launch cities starting Q4 2026
- Direct reporting line to the Founder
