Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore for an Injection Molding Machine Operator. The role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring injection molding machines to produce reusable food containers according to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include preparing molds and materials, adjusting machine settings, performing routine inspections, and ensuring consistent product quality throughout production runs. The position also requires basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues, documenting production data, and coordinating with supervisors and quality control teams. The operator is expected to follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean work area, and support continuous improvement in production efficiency and waste reduction.
Qualifications

• Experience operating injection molding machines and familiarity with basic machine setup, adjustment, and shutdown procedures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production workflows, and quality control practices in a factory or industrial setting.
• Understanding of safety standards, use of personal protective equipment, and adherence to workplace health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical instructions, production specifications, and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, scales).
• Strong attention to detail, reliability in following procedures, and commitment to maintaining product quality and consistency.
• Basic problem-solving skills for identifying and addressing minor mechanical or process issues during production.
• Willingness to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and handle physically demanding tasks as required on the shop floor.
• Prior experience in plastics manufacturing or packaging production is an advantage; vocational or technical training in mechanical or industrial fields is beneficial.
