About The Cad Company
The Cad Company is a growing engineering services company specializing in Mechanical CAD Design, Product Development, Reverse Engineering, Design Automation, and Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Design. We partner with manufacturers, OEMs, automation companies, and product development firms across India and international markets.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive who can independently generate qualified opportunities, build client relationships, and close engineering service projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
- Develop business in both Indian and international markets (USA, Europe, UK, Middle East, Australia, etc.).
- Prospect manufacturers, OEMs, industrial automation companies, machine builders, fabrication companies, and product development firms.
- Schedule discovery meetings with decision-makers including Engineering Managers, Plant Heads, Procurement Managers, Operations Managers, and Founders.
- Understand customer requirements and coordinate with the engineering team to prepare proposals and quotations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Maintain CRM records and provide regular sales pipeline updates.
- Build long-term relationships with clients and identify repeat business opportunities.
- Meet monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
Required Skills
- 3–7 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
- Experience selling engineering services, CAD services, manufacturing solutions, industrial automation, machinery, or technical solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Hands-on experience with cold calling and email outreach.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or similar lead generation tools is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable speaking with technical stakeholders and business decision-makers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering or related technical background (preferred but not mandatory).
- Experience in international sales is highly desirable.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Salesforce, or similar.
